Relishing Boondi Raita

(Serves 4-5 people)


Ingredients 
  • Boondi-1 1/2 cups
  • Yogurt-2 cups
  • Milk-1/2 cup
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper-1 tsp
  • Cilantro
Method
  1. Soak boondi in water for half an hour.
  2. Put boondi in the strainer and remove the extra water.
  3. Now whisk the yogurt and add milk.
  4. Add salt and black pepper.
  5. Now add boondi.
  6. Garnish with cilantro.
Tips: 
  • Always soak the boondi, so that the extra oil comes out and it tastes good.
  • You can use roasted cumin powder (jeera powder) too.
  • Instead of water, use milk to reduce the sourness of the yogurt.
