Ingredients
- Karela-10
- Turmeric-1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder-2 tbsp
- Besan-2 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder-1 tsp
- Saunf-1 tsp
- Asafoetida (Hing)-a pinch
- Dry Mango Powder (Amchur)-1 tsp
- Fine Chopped Onion-2 tbsp
- Salt-1 tsp
- Oil-1 tbsp
- Oil for cooking-3 tbsp
- Peel the karela and split from top to the bottom.
- Take water, put salt (1/2 tsp) and karela in that and heat in the microwave for it 10 mins.
- After that strain the water, let it cool down.
- Then squeeze it.
- Now take a bowl put turmeric, coriander powder, besan, red chili powder, saunf, hing, dry mango powder, fine chopped onion, salt (1 tsp) and oil (1 tbsp).
- Mix everything properly.
- Stuff the mixture in the karela.
- Take a pan, put oil and heat it.
- Now put the karela and cook it in the medium heat without the lid.
- Cook till golden brown.
- It will take approx 10-15 mins to cook.
- Put oil in the dry mixture, it helps besan to cook, otherwise besan will remain raw.
