Eggless Walnut & Dates Cake
Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour (Maida)-2 cups
- Unsalted Melted Butter-1/2 cup
- Sugar-1 cup
- Milk-1 1/2 cup
- Baking Powder-1 tsp
- Baking Soda-1 tsp
- Vanilla Essence-2 tsp
- Chopped Dates-2 1/2 cup
- Chopped Walnut-3/4 cup
Method
- Preheat the oven for 350 degree F.
- Now take a mixing bowl.
- Add all purpose flour, unsalted melted butter, sugar, milk, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla essence.
- Beat it until batter gets smooth.
- Now add chopped dates and chopped walnut.
- Beat it for 2 more minutes.
- Now take a 8x8 inch baking container and grease it with the butter.
- Pour the batter into the baking container.
- Bake it for approx 60 mins.
- Check it with the knife if it's not sticking it means it's baked otherwise bake accordingly.
Tips
- To keep the cake moist, cover the cake with lid after 40 to 50 mins.
- Temperature can vary oven to oven.
