Bharwa Baigan
Ingredients
- Long Baigan (eggplant)-3
- Salt-1 tsp
- Coriander Powder-4 tsp
- Turmeric-3/4 tsp
- Red Chili Powder-1 tsp
- Hing-a pinch
- Amchur-3/4 tsp
- Ajwain-1/8 tsp
- Crushed Garlic-3-4
- Oil-2 tbsp
Method
- Wash the baigan (eggplant).
- If it's big then cut into two pieces.
- Now slit the baigan (eggplant) from top to bottom.
- Now take a bowl put salt, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, hing, amchur, ajwain and crushed garlic.
- Mix all the masala properly.
- Now fill 2 tsp masala in each of the baigan (eggplant).
- Keep for 10 minutes.
- Now take a pan, put oil and heat it.
- Now put baigan (eggplant) in the oil.
- Cover it and cook in the medium low flame.
- In between flip the baigan and cook till gets tender.
